PA envoy to Washington: Either 2-state solution must be "final solution", or Armaggedon

    The Palestinian Authority is adamant that the only "final solution" is the two state solution, PA envoy Husam Zomlot told an Arab newspaper.

    Using eerie Holocaust terminology, hopefully inadvertently, Zomlot announced to The National ,  an Abu Dhabi English language daily, that the 2-state solution was the only possible "final solution". Zomlot then warned that if Greenblat does not succeed this time, "all the options are Armaggedonist", referring to the prophecy of an eventual great war between Moslems and infidels.

    As the Palestinian Authority's self-styled "ambassador" to Washington, Zomlot also told the Abu Dhabi daily a few days ago that Jason Greenblatt, whose itinerary has not been disclosed by Washington, would arrive in Ramallah on August 24. This would be  after visits to Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar and Jordan,  Zomlot said. Greenblatt would meet PA chairman Abbas on August 24th at 7pm in Ramallah, then Egypt would be Greenblatt's last stop, according to Zomlot.
